Hi!!!! I'm Sen. I'm a geographer and data scientist from New Jersey living in London. I like (editing) Wikipedia and gardening and love bad music and cooking and my boyfriend. My pronouns are it/its and they/them. I don't read as much as I should and I spend more time editing this website than I should.

About the website

I made this website for fun and to live out my childhood dream of being a webmaster. It's all been handcoded with my blood, sweat, tears, and other fluids. You can navigate using the sitemap, but the site is under heavy construction right now.

I'm putting in my best effort to use javascript minimally. The site is fully navigable and readable with javascript disabled, even though certain features depend on it (some examples are the tooltips on the home page, the last.fm plugin and the guestbook). That's not to mention that javascript is necessary to keep my site accessible.

I highly reccomend browsing this site on a modern up-to-date browser. While the site won't necessarily break (I can't make any promises!), I take advantage of plenty of modern CSS features (can't wait for the release of postmodern CSS amirite) and haven't tested whether they degrade gracefully.

Accessibility and responsiveness are always at the top of my mind (you can read this website's accessibility statement here), and I'm always trying to improve everyone's experience. So please email me if anything isn't working!!!

• The dithering effect on my images was done using Dither It!
• Some of the background textures are from TextureTown.

• The fish in my aquarium were ripped from the aquarium screensaver from Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95.
• The 3d model of a raccoonfish comes from CadNav.com, which I animated using Blender.
• Clip art used on the Shrines page comes from this CD-ROM archived at archive.org.
• The images used in the sitemap are edited versions of the buttons found on the Tel Aviv University archive and icons from Windows 95.
• The wood texture used in the library was cropped from a screenshot of Apple Newsstand, which I then shoved through this tool.
• The blue background on the 404 page comes from Betty's Graphics.
• The webring icons come from Betty's Graphics, the Microsoft Clip Art archive, and a frame from a Baby Globe GIF made by the Wikimedia Foundation. I also use this postcard scan as a background image on the page.
• I use some emoticons from 123guestbook that were kindly shared by ribo.zone

Fonts

• The home page uses DOS/V re. ANK24.
• The shrines page uses Roboto and Roboto Condensed.
• The blog uses Open Sans.
• The webrings page uses the TF2 Build font.

Code

• The tooltip effect on the home page was done using the tippy.js plugin.
• The 'last listened to' widget is a combination of code from bianca rosa's last.fm widget and PetraPixel's modifications to that code.
• The CSS for the 3d books in my library was modified from this generator.
• The super cool guestbook widget, which takes advantage of Google Forms, comes from ayano (virtualobserver).
• The code used to pull from the Nekoweb API is a modified veresion of maxpixels.moe's code.
